Recently Sasha watched Before Night Falls directed by famous painter and filmmaker Julian Schnabel. Championing the struggling gay artist who has to fight against all odds in order to create his art, Before Night Falls is a film filled with stunning imagery set against the backdrop of fascist Cuba in the 1970s. The movie is simultaneously full of gripping adventure and heart wrenching drama. Highly recommended for those who love art and anyone who has a passionate spirit!
